Must admit he has weird hours, but as someone who has lived here for about 10 years I can strongly stand by the claim that Franks has the best food in the area by far. I will be honest and say that in the past I was turned off by the idea of franks because of the unfocused idea of serving both American and Italian plates. However, having now actually tried it, and had it a few times, I am definitely pleasantly surprised. Don’t be turned off by the admittedly awkward setup and smaller crowd because the friendly and welcoming atmosphere far outweighs it all. The service is fast, efficient and cordial. I truly can’t say enough about the chicken parm, it is just about one of the best I’ve ever had, but I can confidently say that I’ve yet to have a bad experience with any of the food I’ve had there. All the food is outstanding, including the raviolis, fries, and chicken scaloppini. It’s consistently good and a hidden gem at Sunday river. Keep an open mind and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Unassuming restaurant in condominium complex, but Frank is super friendly and the food was far better than the Matterhorn. Best food in Sunday River. Would definitely return.

Great Dinner at Franks Tonight!

We had a delicious dinner at Franks tonight! The food was as good as in the North End!! Frank is an engaging host and is genuinely concerned about his guests! I cannot say enough about it!!

A wonderful place to stop for dinner or lunch!

Frank's Bar and Grille is excellent! Do not hesitate to stop in for lunch - it is on the left towards the bottom of the Sundance Trail. You can pop off your skis and walk in. The food is fantastic. My wife and I stopped in for dinner and had the meatballs and sausage in Sunday gravy and it was so good. We had a couple of excellently made drinks and some great conversation at the bar. We saw some folks eating pizza and it looked delicious!

If you want a good meal at Sunday River, this is the place to go.

Frank's Restaurant at Fall Line Condo, Sunday River Ski Area, serves the best pizza we have had anywhere. They have an excellent down home italian/american menu at affordable prices. We have had, in addition to the pizza, burgers, chicken and haddock. They have a full bar and excellent wine and beer selections. All were great. Frank also offers an easy access from the slopes lunch stop

Delicious NY pizza on the slopes of Maine

Frank himself made us the best NY style pizza north of SoHo! You can ski-in or drive-in to this hidden spot in the Fall Side condos at Sunday River. I can't speak to the rest of the menu but the pizza was delicious. There's a nice full bar and a cozy fireplace to warm up next to. If you're looking for a yummy, made-from-scratch, NY style pizza after a day of skiing, check this place out.

Sope side good eats and a great place to watch the game

We have been to Frank's a couple of times now. It has been quiet both times but the food and service have been great. Frank's is located in the Fall Line Condo's at Sunday River just up the street from the base lodge at South Ridge. They have a full bar and are a full service restaurant. Frank has always greeted us and always checks in to see if everything is good. We had the salmon dinner with a salad and my son had the pizza. We were there for the Patriot's game. They have a huge projection TV in the lounge with a sectional sofa so you feel like you are sitting in your living room on game day...very cool. Frank said he is going to start serving breakfast which will be great before we ski...did I say they were slope side. We will be back again.
